The Turnpike Gallery: I have recently been invited to become a patron of The Turnpike Gallery, Leigh, a role I am very happy to accept. The gallery was established in the early 1970s, and has recently been relaunched, opening earlier this year with the Jerwood Drawing Prize exhibition, and currently showing Mark Leckey’s ‘Dream English Kid’. The gallery team have ambitious plans for the gallery and there are some excellent shows in the pipeline.

More information is available on the gallery website:

Fraser Taylor: I have recently posted on this website a series of excerpts from my essay on the artist, included in the forthcoming book STEIDL-WERK No. 24 Rose Wylie and Fraser Taylor Collisions. The book is set for publication later this year.
